Olympic Pool 2 (outdoor swimming pool)

The pool was built in 1972 and it is the core of today’s complex. In 2008, it was thoroughly reconstructed and integrated in the new Kantrida Swimming Pools complex. The stands can seat 252 visitors in winter. Upon completion of the whole complex, new stands for warmer days will be built, along with the storage area for platform assembly.
Open in summer and covered in winter by the pressostat balloon, this pool meets every requirement for Olympic pools and competitions organized by LEN.
